THE POLITICS OF SOCCER

Prospect Journal has always published students’ photo-journals, which visually document their travels abroad. In light of the upcoming 2014 World Cup, as well as Prospect’s Politics of Soccer event at UCSD tonight, this travel video compiles clips of juggling a soccer ball in various locations throughout London, England. Sites include the St. Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben, and London’s underground subway (or colloquially, the “tube”).

  1. I was amazed at how seriously Europeans take their football when I moved to Greece. Be careful not to wear the wrong color in the wrong neighborhood!
