  • The Dallas Mavericks (8) even the series at 1-1 and snap a 10-game losing streak over the past three seasons against the San Antonio Spurs (1);
  • The Oklahoma City Thunder (2) are down 1-2 to the Memphis Grizzlies (7), who knocked the Thunder out of the playoffs last season;
  • The Los Angeles Clippers (3) regain home-court advantage and take a 2-1 lead after dropping the first game in the series at home to the Golden State Warriors (6); and

In the Eastern Conference:

  • The struggling Indiana Pacers (1) are down 1-2 to a young Atlanta Hawks (8) squad;
  • The defending champions Miami Heat (2) defended home court and have a 2-0 series lead over the Charlotte Bobcats (7), who have now lost 18 straight games against the Heat;
  • The Toronto Raptors (3) have evened the series at one apiece with the Brooklyn Nets (4) after a Toronto newspaper trolled the Nets with a Raptors vs. Dinosaurs headline before the series began (bonus: Canadian rapper Drake lint-rolling his pants during Game 2); and
  • The Washington Wizards (5) have surprised the Chicago Bulls (4) by taking a 2-0 series lead while on the road at Chicago’s United Center.
